RDEC.III Chamber with CMM.I Signal Conditioning Module

This configuration includes the RDEC.III ionization chamber and the CMM.I signal conditioning module.

Manufactured in Russia
Serial production
The CMM.I module interfaces the chamber with most generator units, such as TOP-X, CMP 200, and Q-VISION HF.

Advantages

01

Use with Different Power Sources

The chamber is a sealed and more expensive component than the conditioning module. Replacing the external module allows the chamber to be used with different generator units.
02

Signal Level Adjustment

By modifying components, the module can provide different signal gain levels.
03

Chamber Production Standardization

Using a single chamber design that provides baseline signals, various electronic output formats required by AEC systems of different generator units can be obtained through modules.
04

Fast Implementation of Changes

Developing electronics for a different generator or modifying output signals requires significantly less time.
When the CMM.I Module Is Required
The CMM.I module is required for X-ray generator units that need an integrated signal averaged over the selected measurement fields.
If the generator unit accepts signals from individual fields directly, the module is not required.
This version of the ionization chamber is used, in particular, with C.P. Gellpik generator units.

Role of the Module in Signal Processing

Signal Formation

The chamber generates three signals, each proportional to the average X-ray intensity within its respective measurement field.

Combination Selection

The CMM.I conditioning module enables selection of any combination of measurement fields and forms an averaged output signal.

Signal Correction

The module removes the DC component of the input signals. In this version, the module does not include its own integrator.
